 Buffs Junior Trey Masek picks Texas Tech

4/7/09  Giddings junior Trey Masek announced Monday that he plans to attend Texas Tech in the fall of 2010 and take advantage of the  baseball scholarship they offered him in March.

Trey and his parents visited the Texas Tech campus and were pleased with their experience. Trey loved the campus and feels that Tech is a "great fit for him". he is excited about getting the opportunity to play for a Big XII - Division 1 school.

The Buffaloes baseball squad is 4-0 in district competition and are expected to win the district title and make a deep playoff run.
