U10 Angels Defeat Bastrop 6-0

  The U10 Girls Lee County Angels defeated BYSO Grimes on Saturday 6-0 in Bastrop.  Scoring for the Angels was Jazmin Newman 3, Janay Wilson 2 and Courtney Strain. Megan Rangel made some great assists with good passing.  Jazmin Newman played a great offensive game.  Great defense was played by Jasmine Garcia, Brittany Boyd, and Shyler Mayfield.

 

U13 STRIKERS DEFEAT CENTEX SALADO REVOLUTION 3-0
The U13 Boys Lee County Strikers defeated Centex-Salado Revolution on Saturday by a score of 3-0 in Temple.  The first score for the Strikers came from Isai Zapata with a pass from Javier Garcia.   The second two goals were scored by Javier Garcia with assists from David Bautista.  This was the second regular season game and the first win for the U13 Strikers.  The boys were aggressive throughout the game controlling the ball until the end of regulation.  It was a great defensive game for Juan Carlos Diaz and Daniel Lucio.   

U13 STRIKERS TIE GSA CYCLONES 1-1

The U13 Boys Lee County Strikers tied GSA Cyclones on Sunday 1-1 in Giddings. With a minute left in regulation, Strikers’ midfielder Raymond Rojas tied the game on a free kick in their first home game.  They showed great heart throughout the game.  Christian Salazar had a great offensive game.  He disrupting the Cyclone defense and created opportunities for his teammates. The boys showed good effort and persistence by scoring late in the game.  It was a great defensive game for MaCain Proske and Christopher Orocio. 

 

U14 Strikers Defeat Cedar Park 8-0

The U14 Boys Lee County Strikers defeated CCU Texans on Sunday 8-0 in Giddings. Scoring for the Strikers with two goals each was Marcos Jimenez, Alex Madero, and Michael Rangel. Also scoring was Carlos Salazar and Santos Lara. Great offensive effort was played by Alan Orocio and Teddy Wolridge.  Great defense was played by Sotero Lara, Fernando Orocio and Christian Hess.

 

U16 Xtreme Tie Westlake 2-2

The U16 Girls Lee County Xtreme tied Westlake on Saturday 2-2 in Austin. Scoring for the Xtreme was Vivian Hernandez and Kailey Elkins with an assist from Vivian Hernandez to tie the game. Playing well at midfield and defense was Maleny Zavala, Ashley Chew and Vickie Rivera.
