Break-in on County Road 200 featured as Crime of the
Week

Crime Stoppers is requesting the public's help in solving a
burglary that took place at a Lee County residence on Thursday,
December 29, 2011.
Sometime between the hours of 11:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M., one or
more burglars broke into a residence located at 1342 CR 200,
just west of Giddings. Once inside the residence, the unknown
suspects took men’s and women’s jewelry, video camera equipment
and an undisclosed amount of change from a milk jug.
The perpetrator(s) went to the rear of the residence where
entrance was made by forcing open two patio doors. Once
inside the residence the burglars went to different rooms
including the master bedroom, where it is believed they placed
the stolen items into a pillow case. The burglars exited the
residence using the front doors.
