New technology allows for faster updates on LeeCountyLive.com

Application will be used to provide results from the Lee County Jr. Livestock Show

2/21/09 Lee County Live is pleased to announce that we are taking advantage of Twitter's wireless technology to facilitate faster information updates on our website. On Friday we added the Twitter "updates" application to the right-hand side of our Home page and began to use this new feature immediately.

The application allows us to provide scores, updates, FYI's and more right away - by using the "Text" mode on our cell phones. Each update is limited to 140 characters so the postings will be short, simple, and to the point.

Using Twitter will allow us to bring you up-to-the-minute results from a variety of events including the Lee County Jr. Livestock Show which begins March 26th. We plan to use the new application to keep you up to date on everything that is going on in Lee County.
