Lee County Sheriff's Report (Unedited)
March 23, 2009
Deputy Durrenberger assisted the Giddings Police
Department in regards to a stabbing.
Deputy Durrenberger investigated a Criminal Mischief
where a gate had been knocked off its tracks.
Deputy Kothmann put a brown calf that was out of the
pasture on F.M. 141.
Deputy Durrenberger found where 8 signs had been
sprayed painted on Cr 205.

Deputy York was called to a suspicious activity where
the complainant found 2 bulls dead.
MARCH 24, 2009
Deputy Crockett spoke to a complainant on F.M. 3403
who complained that her neighbor’s cow died and he pulled it
next to the fence close to her house.
A motorist reported an 18 wheeler parked in the
outside lane of traffic on Hwy 77. Deputy Crockett
arrived on the scene and notified dispatch that it was off
the roadway and the flashers are activated and safety
triangles are out.
A caller reported that she could hear what seemed to
be a high pressure gas leak from a well on F.M. 1697.
Deputy Aderhold responded and advised it was coming from a
well and there was a crew on the scene.
Deputy Aderhold responded to an accident on C.R. 107
after a motorist reported an accident involving a vehicle
and a gator. The motorist reported a man was lying in
the roadway with a head injury. Starflight was called
to the scene.
Deputy York and Deputy Durrenberger searched a
residence in Deputy
Robertson, Deputy Durrenberger, and Deputy Carvin searched
for a suspect that was involved in a shooting in
A caller reported that he was just assaulted at his
residence by a family member. Deputy Durrenberger,
Deputy Robertson and Deputy Carvin were dispatched to the
scene. One subject was arrested and booked into Lee
County Jail.
MARCH 25, 2009
Deputy Aderhold responded to a disturbance on C.R. 430
in Dime Box. A caller advised that her husband is
refusing to allow her to leave and he removed the car
battery.
MARCH 26, 2009
A female complainant from Dime Box spoke to Deputy
Robertson about threatening phone calls she was receiving.
A report was made.
A concerned motorist called and requested a welfare
check on some cows that appear to be in bad shape on F.M.
180. Deputy Aderhold was assigned to check on them.
MARCH 27, 2009
A motorist reported that she ran off the road and hit
a tree on Hwy 21 East. Deputy Aderhold assisted
Trooper Weiser.
Deputy Easley, Deputy Durrenberger and Deputy Aderhold
were dispatched to several locations where cows were out on
the roadway.

MARCH 28, 2009
Deputy Crockett took a report from a woman on C.R. 216
regarding vandalism to her personal property. The case
is still under investigation.
Several motorists reported that some trail riders were
blocking the roadway on F.M. 3403. Deputy Aderhold was
dispatched.
Deputy Durrenberger searched for a dark colored truck
pulling a long cattle trailer on Hwy 77. This vehicle
was said to be swerving all over the highway. The
vehicle was located but the trailer was filled with cattle
which caused the swerving.
A motorist reported a brown vehicle parked on F.M. 696
East. Deputy Easley located the vehicle but no one was
around.
MARCH 29, 2009
A resident reported that their purse was taken and
brought back but was missing money. A report was taken
and charges are pending.
Deputy Crockett was dispatched to remove debris from
Hwy 77 North.
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on the back
part of his property on Hwy 21 West. Deputy Aderhold
advised him he could call a wrecker to remove the vehicle.
A citizen called and reported to Deputy Durrenberger
that he caught someone dumping trash at the end of C.R. 304.
It was a white Chevrolet truck and the license plate was
given to the deputy. A report was made.
Deputy Easley checked on a motorist that was broken
down on Hwy 21 East near F.M. 3403. The female
reported that her engine died and she has help on the way.
JAIL REPORT
Congratulations to the winners and all the youth that
participated including the parents and buyers in this years
Annual Junior Livestock Show. Special recognition should be
given for the hard work and long hours put in by the
Livestock Committees.
